The Balloon Museum is the latest sensation in London, captivating visitors since its grand opening in December. But hurry – its doors are set to close on April 14th!

Inspired by their friends’ adventures, the children eagerly clamored to visit. Despite our initial uncertainty, we decided to embark on the journey, and boy, were we pleasantly surprised! Booking on the spot was a breeze, with plenty of slots available for spontaneous visits. Book online for a discount.

Arriving just after 11am, we found ourselves amidst a manageable crowd, ensuring an enjoyable exploration throughout. Spanning three expansive floors, the museum offers a diverse array of exhibits. While the steps felt a tad steep, the children’s excitement propelled us forward without a hitch.

Each room, curated by different artists, immerses visitors in varying emotions and atmospheres. From enchanting melodies to the occasional quirky surprises – like the disco ball exclaiming not-so-cheerfully ‘Enjoy’ – the museum is a feast for the senses. Our children particularly reveled in the ball pool, a definite highlight of the experience.

For parents, the adventure was equally engaging. Negotiating our way out of the ball pool proved to be a hilarious challenge, captured perfectly in the photo below. While some artworks are undoubtedly museum-worthy, others cater purely to children’s entertainment.

As we bid farewell to the museum, our children couldn’t contain their excitement, declaring it one of the most thrilling playgrounds they’ve ever visited. Indeed, it felt like a sprawling wonderland for young adventurers and a haven for Instagram-worthy snapshots for older kids.

Given the chance, I would gladly revisit this enchanting haven. It offered endless fun for the little ones and a delightfully curious experience for us adults. Don’t miss out on the balloon-filled excitement – make sure to visit before it’s too late!
